Playing two rounds in Jeju? Do not book the “most central” hotel first—let the earliest tee time and the course cluster choose the base

A golf trip makes a bad hotel base expensive very quickly. The pain is not usually one extra 20-minute drive at noon. It is an early tee time after a cross-island start, golf bags being loaded and unloaded every day, and an 18-hole round ending with another hotel move in the opposite direction from dinner or tomorrow’s course.

For a Jeju golf stay, set the course sequence before choosing the hotel. The earliest tee time, required arrival, course location and number of bags determine whether one base or a split stay saves movement.

Start with the round sheet

Confirm both courses, dates, tee times, arrival instructions, player count and luggage. Then compare an overnight near the course cluster with the transfer back to the next tee. Use the Jeju stay guide to compare the island area.

Place both rounds on the island before comparing rooms

Work backward from the first tee time and its bag-drop requirement. Add the drive, registration, changing and the walk to the start; compare the same steps for the second round before moving hotels.

PINX’s official directions place the club in Andeok and list route guidance from the airport and Jungmun. Use the live route for your travel day rather than treating a published drive estimate as a guarantee.

Southwest: Andeok and Jungmun side

The current guide groups Teddy Valley, PINX and Lotte Skyhill in this part of Jeju. When both rounds are in that cluster, compare a single base for both nights before adding a checkout and second transfer.

East: Ecoland in Jocheon

Ecoland Golf & Resort lists its address as 1278-169 Beonyeong-ro, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si. Its official directions estimate 30 minutes from the airport; the usage guide asks golfers to arrive 30 minutes before tee-off for bag drop. Treat an eastern round as a separate routing choice, especially if the next day returns southwest.

Check what each hotel or package actually includes

Mercure Ambassador Jeju’s current hotel notice lists a green-fee discount for foreign guests at Teddy Valley Golf & Resort and says dinner and room service have been suspended starting 6 May 2026. Confirm the discount eligibility, booking process and dining before planning a late finish.

PODO’s offer page has listed a four-person Golf Together option and a separate two-night golf package for two. The listed inclusions are product-specific; check the current date, course, meal, fee and rental-car terms on PODO’s official offers page. A standard room should not be treated as a golf package.

Package check

Match the offer to the same course, date and group size. Confirm green fee, tax, cart, meals, transport, equipment and reservation rules individually; a hotel or course label does not establish that an item is included.

The Villas Golf offer at LOTTE Resort Jeju Art Villas is now listed through 30 November 2026. The official page describes 36- or 54-hole options with accommodation and cart fees, with limited room inventory. Check the current Villas Golf terms for remaining dates and availability before booking.

Allow for the golf bag as well as the suitcase

After a round, a hotel move involves loading clubs and luggage, arranging storage and waiting for the next check-in. Confirm vehicle capacity and bag storage before splitting the stay. For a car-free group or several cases, compare those steps with the large-luggage stay guide.

A second base earns its place when it removes a substantial transfer or puts the group near the following early tee. If it only cuts a short morning leg and adds a post-round pack-up, keep the room and move the route instead.

Plan for the whole group and a delayed round

When some travellers do not play, compare what they can reach from the hotel without taking the only car. The PODO and WE Hotel Jeju comparison can help weigh a golf-linked stay against a property the rest of the group can use. The Jeju rainy-day plan offers non-golf alternatives; cancellation and refund terms remain course-specific.

  1. Which course has the first tee time, and when must players arrive?
  2. Do both rounds share a course area, or does the second require a long transfer?
  3. Which green fees, taxes, cart, meal and transport items are written into the selected offer?
  4. Who carries the clubs and suitcases, and where can they be stored during a hotel change?
  5. If weather delays a round, does the next hotel or reservation still work?

Before confirming a golf stay

Check the course’s arrival instructions and the hotel’s current package terms for your dates. A linked property or course does not mean the selected room rate includes a round, shuttle or golf fee.
