Held October 2–11, 2026, in Bukchon and Seochon, Seoul Hanok Week shaped this guide’s route and accommodation notes. The dates are past; use a later city announcement for future planning.
What was confirmed for the 2026 edition
Programme published for Bukchon and Seochon
The city’s 2026 notice listed tours, exhibitions, hands-on activities and performances in Bukchon and Seochon. 2026 announcement records the programme outline; confirm a chosen activity’s venue and time separately.
Check a future edition on its own terms
Do not carry 2026 session times, reservations or access arrangements into another year. Check the Seoul Hanok Portal after a future programme is announced: Seoul Hanok Portal
When Jongno fit the itinerary
A Jongno base can reduce cross-city travel when a Bukchon or Seochon session sits alongside nearby sightseeing or dinner. One event alone may not repay the cost and time of changing hotels.

Keep hanbok and admission separate
Hanbok rental, palace admission and styling were separate decisions. Check each site or provider for the date, hours and booking terms; the festival did not automatically include them.
Add hanbok only when its fitting, palace visit and return fit the same time block without a cross-city trip.
Anchor the day to one confirmed session
Keep one confirmed session as the day’s anchor. Add a meal, café, palace or market only after checking its location and opening time.
Choose the hotel around the affected part of the day
Choose accommodation after checking the activity address and start time. An early event makes arrival and breakfast the main constraints; an evening one makes the return route and dinner location more relevant.
Recheck details before departure
For a future edition, compare room cancellation terms with the published dates, then recheck the selected activity’s entry details and weather notice before departure.
