Use four boxes to choose the venue

Put four details on one line: event date, confirmed venue, preceding stop and dinner or evening destination. If one is still unknown, keep the day flexible.

Wait to move hotels until the venue and following day are both confirmed.

Check the date first

Check the programme notice for that date, including venue, hours and booking requirements. Keep a nearby indoor visit or meal as a fallback if the garden event is brief or weather changes.

Seoul Forest is not a substitute for staying in Gangnam

Seoul Forest is the more natural stop when the day already runs through Seongsu or eastern Seoul. Maeheon only shifts the base calculation when dinner and the following morning also stay south of the river;

For a single afternoon, travel from the hotel you already have before relocating for one event.

Maeheon needs two south-side uses

Count Maeheon as a lodging factor only if the evening and next morning also use the south-side area.

Compare the next morning’s first transfer before changing accommodation.

Do not promise a whole October day through flower viewing

October colour and the event programme can both vary by weather and date. Keep a nearby meal, cafe or indoor stop available so a short garden visit does not consume the rest of the day.

Leave enough time for the route after the event.
