Four calendar days still include transfer and departure time. Give the west and east sides separate days, then keep one day open for rain, an event or a return to the area the group liked most.

A four-day shape that accounts for arrival
- Day 1: check in and stay close to the hotel.
- Day 2: use the west-side block for Gamcheon and one nearby market or harbour stop.
- Day 3: choose Haeundae/Centum City or Gwangalli as the east-side anchor.
- Day 4: keep it flexible, or move the east-side route here if weather changes.
Keep the west-side day within Gamcheon’s visit window

KTO’s 2026 guidance limits tourist visits to Gamcheon’s residential lanes to 09:00–18:00. Arrive early enough to walk the village before moving on; the Visit Busan directions give the current metro and village-bus approach. Choose one of Jagalchi or Gukje Market after the village rather than forcing both into the same afternoon.
Use the spare day to solve a real problem

Move the east-side day if rain or wind makes a beach visit unattractive. If the forecast holds, use the flexible day for a scheduled event or a slower return to the district that suits the group. Check venue dates and hours before treating the day as booked.
Keep one hotel base unless a move saves time twice
A single base makes a weather change or early finish easier. Split the stay only when several nights in the second area shorten repeated routes enough to offset checkout and luggage handling.
If Day 4 is your departure day, use it as departure preparation instead of calling it a sightseeing day. Leave the final outing near the station or airport route.
