The 2026 Seoul Taekwondo Performance ran May 9–October 18 and has ended. Visit Seoul listed free sessions at 14:00 and 16:00 at Namsangol Hanok Village on selected dates, with separate street performances at DDP. A future season needs its own confirmed calendar.
Where and when the 2026 performances took place
The Namsangol schedule included May 9, 10, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31; June 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28; September 5, 6, 19 and 20; and October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18. The DDP street sessions were listed for April 18, May 24, June 13 and 28, September 19 and October 9. Both venues listed 14:00 and 16:00 sessions; Visit Seoul’s event notice said dates could change with weather and on-site conditions.
An afternoon show rarely changes the hotel base alone
Namsangol Hanok Village is near Chungmuro Station Exit 4, about 307 metres away on Visit Seoul’s listing. A Myeongdong or central base can fit if the day also includes a palace, dinner nearby or the same side of Seoul the next morning. Use the Myeongdong hotel-area guide to compare the station-side routes.
DDP can support a Dongdaemun evening when shopping or dinner continues there. One free afternoon performance does not usually justify a hotel move; it becomes a stronger reason only when the night and next morning also use that area. Compare Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun after the event location is confirmed.
Use the gap between sessions for the rest of the day
The 14:00 and 16:00 sessions are two times at one venue, not a full-day itinerary by themselves. Choose one unless there is a specific reason to attend both; use the remaining time for lunch, a room break or the next stop. For another season, confirm dates before paying a non-refundable room rate, then run the trip through the Seoul area guide.
