Decide where you will spend the late evening

If you plan to stay in your room after 22:30, start with Homers’ roughly 40㎡ Ocean rooms. If you will use Kent’s Front Lounge, Signature View Gallery, rooftop or dining areas, include only the facilities and meals named in your selected rate.

Kent is listed at 229 Haebyeon-ro and Homers at 217 Haebyeon-ro, along the same beach stretch. Once this area works for both, focus on what the rate includes and how much private space you will use.

The checked room list gave Kent’s Deluxe Double Ocean as about 26㎡ and Executive Double Ocean as 29.5㎡. Homers’ Deluxe Ocean Double was about 40.2㎡ and Premium Ocean Double about 40.8㎡. These are different size bands; decide whether the additional room area will matter during your stay.

Compare the private room area and layout

When the room is used mostly for sleeping, more floor area may add little. If you will work, sit by the window or spend the late evening inside, compare usable space and seating along with the total rate.

30 minutes

You are awake in the room for only a short time

A larger room has value when you will use it. Estimate awake hours indoors, luggage and seating needs before paying for extra square metres.

3 hours

The room is where you spend the late hours

Kent’s official site lists several shared bridge-view spaces: Front Lounge, Signature View Gallery and Rooftop, alongside Morning Buffet, Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour. These are distinct facilities or dining products; a room rate does not automatically include every one.

Count Kent’s shared spaces only when your rate lets you use them

Before counting a shared space as part of the deal, confirm it is operating, your booking grants access, any spend or meal charge, whether the rate includes it, and whether you have time to go.

The checked Kent Room Only details listed one adult Morning Buffet at the 15F Front Lounge for selected products from August 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Another lounge offer listed Afternoon Tea, Happy Hour for two and breakfast for two, with a booking period through November 30, 2026. These are dated offers; recheck the plan on your dates.

Do not infer free access to every lounge service from a room booking. Use the exact rate displayed before payment to confirm which benefits it covers.

Homers lists restaurants, a gym and a spa; the checked details showed breakfast as an extra charge. Keep these facilities separate from room value unless the selected rate covers them. Its main comparison point here is the roughly 40㎡ Ocean category.

Space Exists ≠ Experience Covered. The easiest way to mis-pick with Kent isn’t because the room is too small—it’s because after seeing lots of Lounge/Rooftop photos, people also bundle unconfirmed entitlements into the room price.

Keep Homers’ room value separate from its facilities

Compare the same date, two adults, Ocean view and refund conditions first. The remaining question is whether Homers’ extra room area is worth the difference in the total rate.

Comparison 1|Same View

Kent Ocean vs Homers Ocean

If an in-room bridge view is not essential, compare a Kent City or No-View option with any Kent lounge or dining product you would actually purchase. Then compare the combined cost with Homers Ocean.

Comparison 2|Unbundle

Kent City + View outside the room

If you return after 23:30 and sleep soon after, you may have little time for either Kent’s outdoor spaces or Homers’ larger room. Recalculate both upgrades around your real schedule.

Comparison 3|Late return

Both Premium sides are discounted

The Homers Deluxe Ocean Twin was listed at about 40.2㎡ with two Queen beds and Ocean View on floors 9–14. The checked product described a base for two and up to four guests for an additional fee; confirm the fee, occupancy and conditions for your dates.

Recheck beds and capacity for three or four guests

Kent’s official Deluxe Twin City (two Double beds) was listed at about 23㎡ for up to four adults, with a City view. For a group, decide whether two large beds plus Ocean View or the capacity of a City room matters more.

For three or four guests, set the required bed count, actual party size and view before searching. Compare the complete room inventory available on the same dates.

If the Kent rate you choose covers Front Lounge breakfast and breakfast already fits your morning, that meal may reduce how much you value a private Ocean view during those hours.

A breakfast view is not the same as an Ocean room

It does not replace the view from your room after returning late or before restaurant opening. The two options serve different parts of the day.

Choose Kent when you expect to use the shared spaces and the selected rate covers the relevant benefits; compare the same-date City and Ocean categories.

Choose Homers for a room-first evening when the larger Ocean room, beds and cancellation terms fit the party and total price.

Homers|Room-first is set.

Run the comparison again without Gwangan Bridge. Kent’s Lounge, Gallery and rooftop remain useful only if they are open and accessible; Homers’ larger private room remains the main distinction.

Reconsider the bridge: what remains without the view?

Kent: value may come from moving between the Front Lounge, dining areas, Gallery and rooftop. Verify the rate and schedule before counting them.

Homers: the roughly 40㎡ Ocean rooms, bed layout and private room time carry more of the comparison. The bridge view complements that room choice.

If Kent remains the better fit without the bridge, the hotel-wide shared spaces suit your plan. If Homers still wins, the private room itself is the deciding feature.

The comparison is about where the view and usable space are located: across Kent’s shared areas or inside Homers’ larger Ocean room.

Checked August 10, 2026. Room rates, offers, breakfast entitlements, rooftop/event access and OTA inventory can change. Use the full rate plan for your exact dates before payment.

Sources and verification date

Start by deciding whether your late evening will be in a private Ocean room or across Kent’s shared spaces. Then check the current access and price terms.

Decision card

Room size, bed type, breakfast and access rules shape the choice. Match the exact date and party to the listed rate before comparing totals.
