Picture the last part of the night. An Ocean room keeps the view available behind your own door; a City or No-View room relies on the beach or hotel’s shared spaces. Pay the view premium only for hours you expect to spend in the room.

Private View

The bridge comes back to the room with you

A private view is available whenever you are in the room, including after a child is asleep or before breakfast. It does not depend on finding a seat or an outdoor area remaining open.

Shared View

The bridge stays outside the room door

The beach and the hotel’s Gallery, rooftop and Front Lounge offer other ways to see the bridge, but each has its own schedule, possible spend and access rules.

Does the bridge need to follow you into the room?
  • Yes: you expect to keep watching after returning, have a child who sleeps early, are celebrating something, or do not want the experience to depend on public space or weather. Ocean View becomes much harder to replace.
  • No: most of your bridge time happens on the beach or in shared hotel spaces, you mainly sleep in the room, or you would rather spend the room difference on food and activities. City and No-View should not be treated as consolation prizes.

Decide whether the bridge must remain visible after you close the room door

Estimate the hours you will be back indoors. A return at 21:00 leaves more time for a room view than a night spent on the beach until midnight; repeat the estimate across the stay before upgrading.

Shared viewing spaces have separate hours and access terms

Treat the Signature View Gallery, Rooftop and 15F Front Lounge as separate facilities. Confirm opening hours, guest eligibility and any spend requirement for your dates; their presence alone does not make them part of a room rate.

View Exists ≠ View Covered. A hotel having a bridge view does not mean your rate includes the way you plan to use that view. You might be buying an Ocean room, a meal, a offer with lounge access, or using a shared space under the rules in force during your stay. Those are four different products.

Breakfast offers a timed view, not a private room view

The Front Lounge Morning Buffet was listed at 07:30–10:30 in the checked material. It can provide a morning view if breakfast fits your routine, but it does not reproduce the privacy or timing of an Ocean room.

The official Deluxe Double Ocean detail page checked for this guide described one adult buffet with a website Room Only plan during a stated 2026–2027 period. Other promotions used different dates and terms; confirm the before payment plan rather than assuming breakfast comes with every Ocean room.

Cinema Double trades daylight for an in-room screen

The official Cinema Double is a windowless No-View room of about 19–23㎡ for up to two adults, with one Double bed and a 75-inch Smart TV. The listed SK OceanSelect service includes more than 20,000 films and series; ordinary YouTube/OTT access requires your own account.

Choose Cinema Double for the screen and a room-first evening if you are comfortable without daylight. It is a distinct product, not a cheaper version of an Ocean room; avoid it if a window matters to you.

Room size, view and rate benefits vary by product

The checked room list ranged from Cinema Double at 19–23㎡ to Deluxe Double City at 23–29㎡, Deluxe Double Ocean at 26㎡, Executive Double Ocean at 29.5㎡ and Kensington Suite Ocean at 56㎡. Beds, occupancy, bathtubs and meal terms vary, so compare the exact room names.

Choose the last place you want to see the bridge

If most bridge time is outdoors, a City or No-View room may work. Shared Gallery or rooftop access still depends on hours, eligibility and weather.

Use shared spaces as alternatives only after checking the current rules and costs; the 15F Front Lounge is a dining venue, not a guaranteed free viewing room.

When you expect to watch from your room late at night or early in the morning, an Ocean room carries a benefit shared spaces cannot fully replace.

Families with early bedtimes may value the private view because the rooftop closes at 22:00 in the checked schedule. Guests who stay out later may use less of the room premium. For couples, celebrations or solo trips, base the decision on actual return time and room use.

Outdoor viewing still depends on weather and event status

The schedule reviewed for this article listed the rooftop as 15:00–22:00. August 2026 drone-show notices allowed cancellation or delay for weather, strong winds, typhoons or communication conditions. Those dates have passed; check the operator’s notice for your visit.

A room view cannot guarantee a clear sky or an ideal angle for an event. Its dependable advantage is that the view is available from indoors after returning, without another trip outside.

Lock the room plan before comparing partner pages

For an Ocean room, fix the exact room name, dates, party size, breakfast, taxes and cancellation before comparing totals. Do not compare the lowest City rate with a larger Ocean Suite.

If an outside view is enough, compare Kent’s City and Cinema rooms after checking the shared-space terms. Gwangalli hotel guide

A windowless room is a specific trade-off

Before booking, imagine a night with no bridge visible from the window: the beach and shared spaces may still work, but only under their actual operating conditions.

If the room itself is secondary and you expect to use the Gallery, Lounge or beach, a City or No-View rate can preserve budget for those plans.

If losing the view when you close the door would change the evening, choose the Ocean product rather than trying to justify a cheaper room that does not meet the brief.

Kent’s choice is about where the bridge-view time happens: inside the room, or across the beach and shared hotel spaces.

Sources and the August 2026 check date

Checked 10 August 2026. Room categories, breakfast, facility hours, offer entitlements and drone-show operations can change. Reconfirm official terms for the stay date; OTA inventory is not a guarantee of those benefits.

Decision card

Estimate the hours you will spend in your room, then compare them with the Gallery, rooftop and Front Lounge schedules and access rules.
