Dodamsambong and Namhangang: Riverbank or Motorboat?

Three rock pillars rise from the Namhangang at Dodamsambong. The bank is the simple visit; the boat adds a short, more exposed view from the water.

Riverbank visit

Dodamsambong’s three pillars are Janggunbong, Cheobong and Cheopbong; Samdojeong Pavilion stands on Janggunbong. Korea Tourism Organization lists the tourist area at 644 Sambong-ro, Maepo-eup, open year-round from 09:00–18:00 with free admission. Parking is listed at KRW 3,000 for small vehicles and vans, and KRW 6,000 for buses.

Optional motorboat

The separate motorboat listing gives daily hours of 10:00–17:30, but says it departs after passengers gather. The ride is about 10 minutes. Listed fares are KRW 15,000 for adults and KRW 10,000 for children; the minimum age is 13 months. The listing says the boat leaves after passengers gather, so 17:30 is not a guaranteed departure time. Keep the riverbank as the plan if no departure fits your arrival. Check the latest Dodamsambong listing and motorboat details before setting out.

For a short stop, stay by the river and pavilion. Add the boat only if the group is comfortable with the fare, waiting for other passengers and an open-water ride.
