Yuseong Hot Springs: Public Foot Bath, Private Spa or Hotel Bath?

Start with the kind of bathing experience the group wants. Yuseong's public foot baths are outdoor shared facilities; spas and hotel baths set their own access and prices.

Free outdoor foot baths

The district lists the public foot bath at Bongmyeong-dong 574 as free, daily 07:00–22:00, with spring water at about 41–43°C. Renovation is scheduled from 2 November to 18 December 2026; the municipal notice names the herbal foot bath as an alternative. That facility is listed free, 08:00–22:00, at roughly 39–42°C. Read the current Yuseong-gu closure notice before visiting.

These are short, shared outdoor stops. Bring a small towel and check posted hygiene and access rules at the site. They do not provide the privacy or indoor changing facilities of a spa.

Paid spa or hotel facilities

Private spas, bathhouses and hotel bathing facilities are separate products, with operator-specific rates, hours, booking, towel and age rules. Confirm what admission includes and whether the bath is available to non-guests before paying. Do not assume a room booking includes spa entry.

For an unbooked pause, use the public option when open. Choose a paid venue when indoor facilities or a private visit matter, and set the rest of the day around its confirmed hours. The Yuseong tourism map helps locate the hot-spring district; individual operators control their own terms.
