The public foot bath makes a simple pause in Yuseong; Gapcheon is an optional outdoor add-on, not a timed attraction.
Check the foot bath before travelling
Yuseong-gu lists its outdoor public foot bath at Bongmyeong-dong 574 as free, open daily 07:00–22:00, with spring water around 41–43°C. The district has scheduled renovation closure from 2 November through 18 December 2026. Its notice directs visitors to the herbal foot bath during construction; that facility is listed 08:00–22:00, free, with water around 39–42°C. Recheck the closure notice for changes.
Add a river section at your own pace
After soaking, pause, drink water and choose a nearby Gapcheon segment with an easy return point. The municipal pages do not provide a single walk duration for the river, so use the map and conditions on the day rather than planning to cover the whole waterfront. In rain, strong wind or after dark, shorten or skip the riverside leg.
Keep the meal near the bath or the planned return route. If the visit follows a late arrival, the bath alone is enough; if an early train follows, leave a buffer for the trip back to the station.
