Gangchon Rail Park is not one station or one interchangeable course. This route uses the Gimyujeong course: a 6 km rail-bike ride from Gimyujeong Station to the midpoint, followed by the operator’s shuttle back. The timed departure and return transfer shape the rest of the day.
What the Gimyujeong ticket includes
The Gimyujeong course runs from Gimyujeong Station to a midpoint rest area for 6 km. After the ride, passengers use the operator’s shuttle to return to Gimyujeong Station. The route is a shared pedalling activity, so allow for the group’s pace and the scheduled return rather than treating it as a hop-on riverside path.
Current listed departures and fares
The operator lists departures at 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30. A 18:30 departure is added on weekends and public holidays from May through October, and during the listed Lunar New Year and Chuseok periods. The listed fare is ₩40,000 for a two-seater and ₩56,000 for a four-seater. The operator directs groups of three to buy a four-seater; groups of five need one two-seater and one four-seater.
Children under 36 months may ride only with a parent or guardian’s safety waiver. Check the booking page for current availability, exact boarding instructions and any service changes before paying; the operator says ride schedules can change for safety.
Plan the Chuncheon connection
Start from Gimyujeong Station, not Chuncheon Station. Build in the trip to the course, ticket collection, boarding and the shuttle return before choosing lunch or another attraction. The operator’s course and schedule pages are the source for the selected departure; use a current map or transit timetable for the transfer from your actual arrival point.
If the group cannot make the booked slot or the weather affects operation, use the operator’s notice and cancellation terms to decide whether to change plans. Keep another stop optional until the return to Gimyujeong is secure.
