Use the Korean Craft Museum at Culture Factory as the day’s anchor. It is at 314 Sangdang-ro in a former tobacco factory, with the museum on floors three and four and food and shops on the first floor.
Check opening hours before choosing a class
The museum lists gallery and craft studio hours as 10:00–19:00 and shop hours as 10:00–20:00. Cheongju City lists Mondays and major holidays as closure days; check the current calendar and exhibition notices before setting out. Craft exhibitions are listed as free, so a class booking is not required for a museum visit.
For a hands-on session, confirm the age range, language, materials, length and finished-work collection arrangements before planning around it. Collection timing can affect a same-day train connection.
Keep nearby stops optional
Food or a break in Culture Factory fits naturally after the galleries. Dongbu Warehouse has its own programme and hours, so add it only after checking what is open that day. MMCA Cheongju is at the same address, but its exhibitions and open-storage areas follow a separate schedule.
If this is your arrival or departure day, settle the luggage plan and transfer time first. Treat a second venue as optional when a workshop or onward train limits the available hours.
Plan with Culture Factory visitor information, the Cheongju city guide to the Korean Craft Museum and MMCA Cheongju visitor information.
