Haeundae Blueline Park: Stations, Direction and Return

Follow the Mipo–Songjeong line by station, choose a boarding direction and plan the transfer after the final stop.

Treat this as a coast route with two endpoints. Mipo sits near Haeundae; Songjeong is the far end. Decide which end you will reach first and how you will leave the last station before booking a ride.

Follow the line from Mipo to Songjeong

The Beach Train’s stops run Mipo, Dalmaji Tunnel, Cheongsapo, Daritdol Skywalk, Gudeokpo and Songjeong. The operator’s map places Songjeong 4.8 km from Mipo along the line. Cheongsapo is 2.3 km from Mipo, and the Sky Capsule uses this shorter Mipo–Cheongsapo section only. Choose the train for the full coast connection; choose the capsule when that shorter segment is the point of the trip.

Build the day around one booked leg

Choose a departure station that follows your earlier stop, then allow time for the transfer and check-in queue. A one-way Beach Train pass does not allow another boarding after you get off. The two-ride pass permits one reboarding after alighting, while the one-day all-station pass covers the stations once each and cannot be used twice at the same stop. These rules affect whether you can split the coast into separate walks.

Connect the last stop to the next district

Do not treat the park line as a cross-city transit route. From Songjeong or Mipo, add the current bus, subway or taxi journey to your next Busan district. If your accommodation is in western Busan, include that full return instead of assuming the scenic rail completes the transfer. A Haeundae base is more practical when the next stop is still on the east coast.

Leave the walk flexible

Cheongsapo, Daritdol Skywalk and Gudeokpo can each become a separate stop, but stairs, weather, queues and the group’s walking pace determine how much fits. Keep the walk optional after a timed ride. In severe rain or a typhoon, the operator may suspend service; check its live notice before setting out.

Boarding details that change the schedule

Beach Train reservations are for the first boarding time, and the boarding gate closes 10 minutes before departure. Intermediate stops may board on a first-come basis. For the Sky Capsule, the reserved time is an entry window, not a guaranteed departure minute; queues may delay boarding. Arriving more than 30 minutes after the reserved time may lead to denied boarding without a refund.

Choose a base that matches the last stop

If you are staying in Haeundae or Songjeong, compare your next morning’s route with the evening transfer back. For other districts, allow for the cross-city journey after the coast.
