Eulsukdo is a protected wetland landscape, not an open island trail. Start with the Eco Center or the signed visitor zone, then leave enough time to return before the park closes for the night.
Start at the Eco Center or open park
The Nakdong Estuary Eco Center is at 1240 Nakdongnam-ro, Saha-gu. Busan lists free admission, viewing hours of 09:00–18:00 and last admission at 17:00 on its Eco Center visitor page. Check the current calendar, then choose the exhibition as the indoor anchor or a short outdoor walk if the weather is suitable.
Stay within the visitor zone
The migratory bird park is divided into education, buffer and core preservation zones. Busan opens the education-use area to visitors from 08:00 to 20:00; access to restricted wetland sections is limited. Stay on designated paths and check the official Eulsukdo zone map and rules. The park’s visitor rules also restrict entry from 20:00 to 08:00.
Getting there from Hadan
Busan City’s visitor directions say to take Metro Line 1 to Hadan Station Exit 3, then transfer to bus 58, 58-1 or 58-2 for Eulsukdo Service Area. Confirm the stop and service on the day; select one area rather than planning to cover every wetland edge.
See Busan’s Eulsukdo Ecological Park page for the city directions and facility list. Keep Amisan Observatory or Dadaepo as a separate follow-on only if the return journey and daylight allow.
Plan for a walk even if no birds appear
Winter is a useful season for migratory-bird observation, but sightings and viewing distance vary. Keep the visit worthwhile as a short wetland walk or Eco Center stop. Wind, rain and low winter light can shorten time outdoors.
