Dadaepo Beach: Access and Sunset Route

Reach the beach from Dadaepo Beach Station Exit 2; treat the seasonal fountain as a separate event with its own calendar.

Dadaepo is a wide sandy beach at the western edge of Busan, reached directly from Line 1. The beach remains a useful coast stop after the 2026 Sunset Fountain season has ended; do not plan around a show outside its published dates.

Getting to the sand

Busan City lists Dadaepo Beach at 14 Morundae 1-gil, Saha-gu. Admission is free; from Dadaepo Beach Station on Line 1, Exit 2, the beach is about a four-minute walk. Restrooms, showers, changing rooms and foot-washing facilities are listed on the city beach page.

Choose the beach for the open shoreline and estuary-side setting. If the group mainly wants to watch sunset, arrive early enough to walk the sand before the light changes; the beach itself does not depend on a scheduled show.

The 2026 fountain season is over

The 2026 Sunset Fountain of Dreams programme ran April 24–September 30, with show times varying by month and weekday. It is no longer operating on October 26. Check the 2026 city event listing for the archived timetable and wait for a new season notice before making a future visit depend on the fountain.

Keep the route short or add a west-Busan stop

For a beach-only visit, take the same Line 1 route back from Dadaepo Beach Station. Add another west-Busan stop only after checking its location and closing time; a beach sunset can push the return later than expected. In the swimming season, use the beach’s posted operating and safety notices rather than assuming the water is supervised all year.

Bring a change of clothes if using the showers or wading area, and check weather and wind before setting the return time. No fountain schedule or swimming service is assumed outside the published season.
