Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory is a short sea-facing glass-floor stop between Mipo and Songjeong. It works as part of an east-coast route; weather restrictions and the return connection determine whether it fits the day.
Current access and hours
The observatory is free and listed at 167 Cheongsapo-ro, Haeundae-gu. Visit Busan currently gives hours of 09:00–18:00 and warns that snow, rain, strong-wind warnings or maintenance can restrict access. Call +82-51-749-5720 or check the current Visit Busan route notice before making it the only reason for a long journey.
From Jangsan Station on Metro Line 2, Exit 7, Busan’s tourism route lists village bus 2 or 10 to Cheongsapo. Public parking is available nearby. The official address and transport details are on the same Visit Busan page.
Pair the observatory with one coast stop
For a short outing, cross the observatory if it is open, then choose the port or a meal as the second stop. If you want more walking, set a single Mipo–Cheongsapo or Cheongsapo–Songjeong segment and decide in advance how you will return. The nearby Beach Train has a station by the observatory, but its service and last departure should be checked with the operator before you set the finish time.
The glass floor can be skipped by anyone uncomfortable with heights; agree on a meeting point outside the deck so the group can continue together. Keep clear of working boats and port equipment at Cheongsapo.
Leave a weather alternative
Wind and rain can close the deck even when the surrounding coast remains accessible. Keep the port or another confirmed Haeundae stop as an alternative, and do not assume the observatory stays open after dark. Recheck the local forecast and facility notice on the day.
Haeundae District’s observatory page gives the landmark’s location and the Jangsan bus approach.
