Amnam Park, Busan: Coastal Trail and Songdo Access

Choose a walk length and check the return route before heading to the coast.

Amnam Park is a coastal walking area above Songdo, with viewpoints toward Dudo Island. Decide whether the group wants the trail, a short viewpoint visit or a separate cable-car ride; they are different stops with separate access.

The trail is a walk, not a short viewpoint stop

Visit Busan describes the Songdo Coast Bollegil Trail through Amnam Park, with forest sections and several observatories. Dudo Observatory looks toward the uninhabited Dudo Island and the surrounding coast. Check the Amnam Park visitor page for the current access description, then set a turnaround that leaves enough energy for the return.

Bus access includes a final walk

The city page lists Bus 7 from Jagalchi Station Exit 1 to the Amnam Park stop, followed by a 12-minute walk. It also lists the park as open year-round at all hours, with free admission; parking is paid. Recheck the city’s access and parking details before travelling.

Keep the cable car as a separate plan

Busan Air Cruise, Songdo Beach and Amnam Park are nearby but not the same entrance or activity. Check the cable car’s current operation and weather notice before building the day around it. A cable-car ride does not replace the coastal trail; choose one or combine them only if the group has time for the transfers and walking.

When the weather or footing changes

The trail is exposed in places and the park includes uneven paths. Check local conditions and any closure notice; shorten the walk if wind, rain or fatigue changes how safe the return feels. The trail details and Songdo Beach information help choose a lower-effort alternative.

Songdo suits a day built around the beach and park. Nampo is more practical when the rest of the trip centres on markets, meals and central transport. Compare the return after the visit and the following morning in the Busan accommodation guide before choosing the base.
