Daehan Dawon is the day’s main stop: its tea rows climb a hillside, so give the walk room before adding the coast. Yulpo Beach is a separate 1.2-kilometre shore visit; include it only when the transfer and return work for your group.
A practical order for the day
Start at Daehan Dawon while the group has energy for the uphill paths. The Korea Tourism Organization lists opening hours of 09:00–18:00 from March to October and 09:00–17:00 from November to February. Individual admission is KRW 4,000 for adults and KRW 3,000 for children and seniors. The car park is listed as open 06:00–19:00. Check the linked visitor page for any change before travelling.
After the plantation, stop for a meal in Boseong before deciding on Yulpo. The beach is at 24 Uam-gil in Hoecheon-myeon, with parking listed by the tourism authority. Its long sand strip and pine grove make it a shore walk, not an extension of the tea-field grounds.
The coast is optional
If you are driving, allow for the road between the two addresses, parking, the walk and a return with daylight left. Without a car, check a same-day bus journey in both directions before leaving the plantation; a map distance alone does not prove a useful service. If the connections do not fit, finish the tea visit and stay near the next morning’s departure.
For a shorter day, use the lower plantation paths and set a turnaround before the climb. In hot or wet weather, shorten the hillside walk. Keep Yulpo for a separate overnight or another day if the group would otherwise rush both stops.
The nearby Korean Tea Culture Park is a different stop with a tea museum and performance venue; it lists 10:00–17:00 hours and closure on Mondays, New Year’s Day, Seollal and Chuseok. Add it only if its schedule and your transport line up.
