Make Daehan Dawon the morning anchor, then add Yulpo Beach only if you have time for the drive or bus connection and a relaxed return. The tea plantation is a hillside walk; a map’s short distance does not include the time spent on its paths.
Start with Daehan Dawon
The plantation route moves from a cedar path and bamboo grove into the tea-field views, with an observation point on the hill. The official visitor listing gives March–October hours as 09:00–18:00 and November–February as 09:00–17:00. Adult admission is KRW 4,000; children and seniors are KRW 3,000. Parking is listed as available from 06:00 to 19:00.
Walk only as far as the group is comfortable returning. The rows climb a slope, and the summit view is weather dependent; leave the coast out if the hill, heat or rain has taken longer than expected.
Use Yulpo for a different kind of coast stop
Yulpo Beach is a small coastal village beach backed by pine trees, not a tidal sea-road attraction. The official listing describes a 1.2 km stretch of sand and links to Boseong’s municipal tourism site. Choose it for a shore walk and sea view, then confirm current swimming-season services before counting on facilities.
Allow time to eat between the plantation and beach. If driving, confirm parking and the return route before sunset. By public transport, verify the actual departure and last return for both stops on the same day; if the connection leaves a long wait or late return, keep the visit in the tea district.
Half day or full day?
With a half day, walk the plantation and have tea or a meal nearby. A full day can pair the hillside visit with Yulpo, but one coastal stop is enough. During summer, start the slope walk before the hottest part of the day; in winter, Daehan Dawon closes an hour earlier than in the warmer season.
Daehan Dawon is at 763-65 Nokcha-ro. Yulpo Beach is at 24 Uam-gil, Hoicheon-myeon. Check both places’ current access and transport before treating them as a single outing.
Route choice
Walk Daehan Dawon first, then choose Yulpo only if the transfer and return fit. A half day works better when the plantation itself is the priority.
