The Cloud Bridge is a landmark on Wolchulsan’s steep rock terrain, while the Cheonhwangbong ridge is a separate, roughly six-hour hike. Choose the bridge as the day’s main goal or plan for a full traverse; they do not take the same time or effort.
Choose by route length
Korea Tourism Organization describes the main ridge from the Cheonhwangsa site or Baramgyegok Valley over Cheonhwangbong and Gujeongbong to Dogapsa as about six hours. Its guide lists the red suspension bridge at 54 metres long and 120 metres above the valley. These figures describe the landmark and ridge, not a guaranteed bridge return time. See Wolchulsan’s official visitor information.
