A surf lesson and a full Naksansa visit compete for the same daylight. Pick the activity that matters most; use the other coast stop only when the session time and return connection leave room.
If surfing is the fixed plan
Choose a Surfyy lesson from the operator’s seasonal schedule and check in 30 minutes before it starts. The Surfyy FAQ lists beginner sessions at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00 in April–June and September–October; July and August have a separate timetable. After the class, changing and food take time, so keep the second stop to a short Naksan Beach walk or skip it.
If the temple is the priority
Naksansa lists visitor hours of 06:00–17:30 and asks visitors to exit by 18:30. VisitKorea lists KRW 4,000 parking. Start with the temple and its coastal outlook; add a surf session only if the operator confirms a later start that still fits your transport. Its address, hours and visitor details are listed online.
For public transport, verify each leg between the school, temple and terminal with Yangyang’s tourism contacts. The county lists the local bus company at 033-671-3013, taxis at 033-671-2300 and the intercity terminal at 033-672-4100 on its official contact page.
