Both hotels face Haeundae Beach, so “beachfront” does not settle the choice. The Westin Josun Busan is at 67 Dongbaek-ro beside Dongbaek Island; Grand Josun Busan is at 292 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, nearer the Haeundae Station approach and central beach area. Choose the side you will use repeatedly, then compare the exact room and rate.
After dinner: Dongbaek edge or station-side Haeundae
Westin’s location works when a beach walk or Dongbaekseom is part of the evening before you return. Grand Josun’s official directions describe a 10-minute walk from Haeundae Station exits 3 or 5 toward the beach. That is more useful if your plans centre on the station-side streets, market and second outings. Check the route you expect to walk at night rather than comparing the two hotels by a generic beach label.
Room choice and group fit
Westin lists rooms with beach, garden or city views and executive-level accommodation with Club Lounge access; eligibility depends on the selected room or qualifying membership. Grand Josun lists Superior, Deluxe, Premier, Suite and Kids room lines, plus a children’s room. Check bed count, view, guest limit and any lounge or kids-room conditions on the exact product. The hotels’ names and photos do not establish which extras a particular rate includes.
Pool and daily facilities
Marriott lists Westin’s indoor pool, children’s pool, gym and five restaurants. Grand Josun’s official site lists indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and fitness facilities; its tourism profile also lists restaurants including Aria, Palais de Chine, Lounge & Bar and Josun Deli. For either property, confirm the pool’s current operating rules and rate entitlement for your dates.
Arrival and checkout
Both hotels list check-in at 15:00. Marriott gives Westin checkout as 12:00, while VisitKorea lists Grand Josun checkout at 11:00. Grand Josun’s official directions specify about 10 minutes on foot from Haeundae Station exits 3/5. Westin identifies Dongbaek Station and says it has no airport shuttle. Use your actual airport arrival time and bags to compare taxi or transit costs.
