Shilla Stay Seodaemun suits a Seoul plan that groups central sights and uses Line 5. The airport transfer is longer than a quick city taxi, and most listed rooms are compact; check the route and exact room before choosing it as a general Seoul base.

Use the hotel’s actual station and airport routes

The hotel is at 76 Chungjeong-ro, Seodaemun-gu. Its directions use Seodaemun Station on Line 5, exits 7 or 8. From Incheon Airport, the hotel lists airport buses 6002 or 6005 at about 1 hour 20 minutes; the AREX-plus-Line-5 route is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Allow for traffic, walking with luggage and the exact stop you use. The hotel also lists a Gimpo-to-Seodaemun Line 5 trip at about 50 minutes.

Check the room area and bed arrangement

The official list gives most Standard, Deluxe and Premier Deluxe rooms as 20–23 m², with Double, Twin, Family Twin or Ondol options depending on the room. Grand is 39.7 m². Confirm the exact bed, occupancy, view and room area in the selected plan; the category name alone does not tell you how the room will work for your group or luggage.

Parking has specific restrictions

The hotel lists parking at KRW 5,000 per night, limited to one vehicle per room. If the hotel or designated external lot is used, intermediate exits are not available; each exit is charged KRW 5,000. Ask the hotel about current availability if you plan to drive, and factor repeated car use into the total.

Myeongdong, Hongdae, Jamsil and Gangnam remain separate trips, so check the late return route if dinners or events there are central to your plan.
