With two kids in Seoul, draw the family’s evening before deciding on one room or two

“Sleeps four” can mean four separate beds, two doubles, a double plus bunk beds, or an arrangement that technically fits four people but does not fit your family’s actual sleep.

For two children, verify four actual sleeping places before comparing room names or guest filters. Then check whether the children share a bedtime, whether either still naps, and how the room handles the morning bathroom rush.

Four beds solve one problem, not every routine

Hotel PJ Myeongdong lists its Quad at 45–69 m² with four 100 × 200 cm single beds and a capacity of four. Its Premier Quad is 56 m² with the same four-bed layout and capacity. These are clear options when each person needs a separate bed and can sleep in one shared room. They do not create separate bedrooms; an early sleeper will still share the same lights and sounds. Check the exact room on the Quad page or Premier Quad page.

A bunk layout may help when the children keep different hours

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun lists its Residence Premier Family as one bedroom with one double bed and one bunk bed. The 80.9 m² residence also has a kitchenette, washing machine and workspace. The living area offers more room to separate daytime activity from sleep, but it is still a one-bedroom product; confirm the permitted guest count and the children’s suitability for the bunk in the exact booking. See the official room details.

Let ages, naps and location settle the shortlist

Children with similar bedtimes may do well in a Quad. A toddler who naps and an older child who wants to stay up can make a separate living area more useful. If both children need different bedtime routines, ask whether the room has a closable bedroom and what the exact layout is; occupancy alone does not answer that.

A room return matters only when it is likely to happen. If a child naps at the hotel, choose a base that makes the round trip realistic and decide who stays out with the other child. If the family is away all day, do not pay extra for a room layout built around a midday rest. For the broader decision, see one family room or two rooms, the baby-and-toddler guide and the Seoul family hotel guide.

Compare the same dates, ages, bed configuration, cancellation terms and total price. Confirm any cot or bunk-bed age restrictions with the hotel before paying.
