At L7 Haeundae, the decision turns on how you plan to spend time at the hotel. If you will return only to sleep and leave early, compare the room, location and rate first. Add the pool, breakfast or other shared spaces only if your itinerary leaves time to use them.
- Room-only stay: compare the room, bathroom, location and rate; leave unused amenities out of the calculation.
- You will use shared facilities: add only the pool, breakfast, fitness or laundry you expect to use, then check access rules and rate terms.

Compare the room before counting shared amenities
Compare the room and rate before adding facilities. Confirm the bed, view category, dates and cancellation terms; a property photo cannot show which view or seasonal access comes with a particular rate.
| Feature | Inside the room | Outside the room | Question to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Room, bathroom and bed | ✓ | Would the room still suit you if you used none of the shared facilities? | |
| View category | ✓ | Will you spend enough time in the room to enjoy the listed view? | |
| Rooftop Pool | ✓ | Do your dates, package eligibility and planned hours match a pool session? | |
| Floating breakfast | ✓ | Will you be at the hotel between 07:00 and 10:00? | |
| Energy Studio and Laundry Room | ✓ | Will you exercise or do laundry during this stay? | |
| Cocoon Lounge Business Center | ✓ | Do you need the listed PCs or printing, and have you checked the extra printing charge? |
Use the table to separate features inside the room from facilities you must leave it to use. The distinction matters when comparing L7 with a simpler Haeundae stay.
Pool access depends on dates, package and session times
LOTTE’s FAQ describes the 19th-floor rooftop pool as a year-round warm-water pool, with free off-season access for overnight guests; July–August access is limited to eligible Pool Package bookings. As recorded on 10 August 2026, Agoda listed four sessions from 17 July to 31 August (08:30–11:00, 12:00–14:30, 15:00–19:00 and 19:30–22:00), with the last session for guests aged 19 or older. It listed three sessions from 1 January–16 July and 1 September–31 December 2026, with the final session also adults-only. The FAQ says routine maintenance falls on the second Monday of each month. There is no separate changing room or shower, so guests change in their room; a swim cap or baseball cap is required. Treat the 2026 dates as a dated listing and confirm rules for your stay.
| Your schedule | Pool appeal in photos | Likely pool use |
|---|---|---|
| Leave at 09:00; return at 22:00 | Appealing in photos | Little overlap with pool hours; do not count it as a main reason to book. |
| Back at the hotel from 16:00 to 19:00 | Potentially useful | There may be time to swim; check summer package eligibility and sessions. |
| Family with children and an early bedtime | Appealing in photos | Check whether a suitable session fits the children’s schedule; the final listed session is adults-only. |
| A return visit to Busan or a slower weekend | Appealing in photos | More likely to use shared spaces if staying at the hotel is already part of the plan. |
Count facilities you will actually use
The listed facilities are a 19th-floor Rooftop Pool and Poolside Lounge, a 5th-floor Energy Studio and Laundry Room, and a Business Center in the 3rd-floor Cocoon Lounge area. The source lists Energy Studio hours as 06:00–22:00. It also lists three washing machines and three dryers; on the 10 August 2026 check, the FAQ showed KRW 5,000 per wash or dry, with detergent and fabric softener at KRW 1,000 each.
The FAQ lists two PCs in the Cocoon Lounge Business Center and says printing costs extra. That supports a practical stop for basic computer use or printing; it does not establish that the whole lounge is a coworking office.
Shared spaces help groups only when time allows
Shared spaces can give a group somewhere to meet while people choose different activities, such as swimming or doing laundry. That helps only when the group returns early enough to use them.
If most evenings end late on Haeundae Street, the facilities may remain unused. Travelling with friends alone does not make a lounge, pool or laundry stop part of the itinerary.

Confirm the room category and view
LOTTE lists Standard rooms on floors 4–9 and Superior rooms on floors 10–19. View labels include Town, Town Ocean, Side Ocean and Ocean; the FAQ says full Ocean View is available only in specific Junior Suite Ondol rooms. Check the exact room category rather than treating every name containing “Ocean” as a full sea view.
| Room category | Listed view and floor | Bed, capacity and size | Booking check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Queen | Town|4–9F | Double|2 people|approx. 23–27㎡ | For two guests, compare this room’s bed, view, bathroom and rate before paying for an upgrade. |
| Standard King | Town / Side Ocean|4–9F | Double|2 people|approx. 25–30㎡ | Check whether the selected rate guarantees Side Ocean; it is not the same label as Ocean View. |
| Standard Family Twin | Town / Side Ocean|4–9F | Double + Single|3 people|approx. 27–30㎡ | For three guests, verify that the Double plus Single setup appears in the selected room details. |
| Superior Family Twin | Town / Town Ocean / Side Ocean|10–19F | Double + Single|Sleeps 3|Approx. 25–30㎡ | Town Ocean and Side Ocean are separate view labels; confirm the exact category shown in your booking. |
| Junior Suite Family Twin Ocean View (Ondol) | Ocean|Approx. 4–18F | Double + Single|Sleeps 3|Approx. 36㎡ | Choose this only if the specific Junior Suite Ondol room and full Ocean View match the selected rate. |
Listings may use different names for similar view labels, such as Town View, City View or Side Ocean. Compare the same dates, guest count, bed, view, breakfast and cancellation terms. Booking.com separates breakfast, cancellation and prepayment across rate plans, so a headline total alone is not enough.
Who is most likely to use the facilities?
Couples: L7’s shared facilities are more relevant if you expect to spend an evening at the hotel. If dinner, drinks and walks will keep you out, compare the room and location without counting those extras.
Solo travellers: the Energy Studio, laundry and listed PCs may help if you plan to use them. Early departures and late returns leave less reason to pay for amenities you will not reach.
Families: check the pool’s date, package and session rules against children’s schedules. Separately, the Family Twin listings show a Double plus Single bed for three guests; verify that exact arrangement in the selected rate.
First-time Busan visitors often plan more cross-area stops than a return visit or a slow weekend. If your days are already full, choose L7 for its room and base first; count shared amenities only when your schedule leaves time on site.
Breakfast works only if the timing fits
The 10 August 2026 listing showed Floating breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00, priced at KRW 30,000 for adults and KRW 22,000 for children aged 49 months to 12 years, including 10% tax. These are dated figures: confirm the current menu price and whether breakfast is included in the exact rate. It adds value only if you expect to eat at the hotel during those hours.
Beach and station access are useful location factors
LOTTE lists Haeundae Beach about a three-minute walk away and Haeundae Station on Line 2 about ten minutes away via exits 3, 5 or 7 toward the beach. Booking’s listing showed about 200 metres to the beach and 600 metres to the station. These are source-specific distances checked on 10 August 2026; use the route and hotel entrance that matter to your stay.
For a room-and-location comparison with other stays nearby, see the Haeundae hotel guide.
Make the room-only comparison before booking
First judge the room with the door closed: bed, bathroom, view category, location and rate. That is the baseline before counting the rooftop pool, Floating, Energy Studio, laundry or lounge.
Then consider what you would actually use during your dates. If the answer is the pool, check package eligibility and session times; if it is breakfast, compare the exact rate; if it is laundry or computer access, confirm the current facility terms.
Keep L7 on the shortlist when both the room and the facilities fit your plans. If the room alone does not suit the price and your schedule leaves little time on site, compare a simpler Haeundae option instead.
