No swimmers: leave pool access out of the calculation and compare room, breakfast and cancellation. Two swimmers: add two guest tickets to a room-only rate. Four swimmers: compare that room plus four tickets with an offer that explicitly covers four. On August 16, 2026 the pool closed at 20:00; from August 17 it closed at 18:00, so a 17:00 return left much less time later in the season.
Add pool tickets before deciding which room rate is cheaper
The official 2026 guest tariff checked on August 15 listed KRW 19,900 per adult and KRW 17,900 per child aged 37 months through elementary-school age. Two adults and two children would pay KRW 75,600 for one entry each. Treat this as a dated 2026 amount, not a standing price.
The pool tariff is useful for separating room-only from an offer that includes four admissions. It does not prove either option is always cheaper: count the tickets only if everyone will swim, and compare against the exact meal and cancellation terms.
The 2026 schedule changed on August 17
The 2026 calendar checked on August 15 showed general operation from June 19 to September 27, 09:00–18:00, with extended 09:00–20:00 hours from July 17 through August 16. The later date has passed; use the official page to confirm the next season’s dates before booking.
For a sightseeing day, the closing hour determines whether the pool is usable after returning. A stay on the final 20:00 day and one on the first 18:00 day had different swim windows even though the room itself was unchanged.
Place your actual check-in date on the published operating calendar, then estimate when you will reach the resort each day. Summer dates alone do not tell you how much pool time your party will have.
Confirm the room name, beds and cooking rules
The renovated Kensington Premier was listed at about 85.95㎡, with a living room, two bedrooms and one bathroom. The checked listing set standard occupancy at four and maximum occupancy at six, with one double and two single beds; it was marked Clean Room with no cooking. Verify the exact product because Premier, Premier Plus and Kids variants differ in beds, capacity and cooking rights.
Older Premier offer pages also described bed assignments made at the property, including one double plus two singles or two ondol rooms. “26 pyeong” alone does not settle the layout for a group of four to six; choose the exact room name and bed arrangement before paying.
| Check before payment | Why the item changes your total | A common false comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Premier / Premier Plus / Kensington Premier / Kids | Occupancy, beds and cooking or cleaning rules vary by product. | Treat every 26-pyeong listing as the same room. |
| Ocean / Mountain / named floor | The view is part of the room product. | Use a Mountain or room-of-house rate as the Ocean price. |
| Pool access | Room-only may require separate tickets for each guest. | Assume a hotel pool is covered by every room rate. |
| Breakfast | Offers may cover two or four people. | Assume a breakfast label covers all four to six guests. |
| Cancellation | Refundability can differ between offer and partner rates. | Compare a non-refundable total with a refundable offer as if equal. |

Compare meals and pool access for the whole party
The August 15, 2026 offer pages specified how many guests received breakfast and pool admission. Summer Playground listed pool access for four; other offers covered two admissions or tied breakfast for four to a consecutive-night condition. Read the threshold and headcount on the exact offer.
Compare the same dates, room product and occupancy. Add only the breakfasts and tickets your party will use, then check cancellation terms and whether unused benefits have cash value. Four pool admissions can help a family that plans to swim; they add no value to a stay spent away from the resort.
Only pay extra for a view you will use
The property offers Ocean and Mountain room products, while the pool and garden face the coast. First settle room layout, meals and pool access; only then decide whether the view difference matters for your schedule.
If everyone leaves at 09:00 and returns after 18:00, the pool and room view may see little use. A half-day at the resort gives the garden, pool and coastal setting more practical value. Use your itinerary, not the room photograph, to judge the upgrade.
Keep the room and booking terms constant
Compare one date, guest ages, room name and view, pool and breakfast coverage, payment and cancellation. For a swimming group, include the required number of tickets in the total payable.
When the pool changes the decision
This resort fits a group that has time for the pool and can use the meals or admissions in its selected offer. If the itinerary keeps everyone out until closing, price a room-only option before paying for unused benefits.
