Woljeonggyo suits the end of a central Gyeongju day. Cross while there is still enough light to see the timber structure, then decide whether to stay by the stream after dusk. The bridge and its exhibition have different hours, so check both before leaving.

Start from the central heritage area
Gyeongju City estimates about 1 km and 15 minutes from Gyelim to Woljeonggyo on foot. From Donggung and Wolji, the route is about 2.7 km and 30 minutes, before time spent at either site. Keep this as the last stop if you want to avoid retracing the walk after dinner.
The bridge is listed 09:00–22:00 and the gatehouse exhibition 10:00–22:00; entry is free. Confirm current notices with Gyeongju City before travelling.

Stay for dusk only if the return is settled
Sunset and reflections vary with season, weather and water conditions. There is no need to wait for a particular light time: the bridge itself remains the focus. In rain, skip the low stepping stones and use the covered route if open.
Before you start, choose where to eat and how to return to your accommodation. A late closing time does not guarantee a convenient bus or taxi at the end of the visit.

Look for the original context
The Samguk Sagi records a bridge here in 760 CE. The present structure is a modern reconstruction based on historical records and archaeological work, completed in stages through 2018. The official tourism listing gives the site address as 274 Gyo-dong.
