The Garden of Morning Calm has twenty themed gardens and more than 5,000 plant species. A focused visit works when the group chooses a few areas in advance; trying to see everything can turn the day into a checklist.
Choose a pace, not a garden count
Use the official visitor map to pick the sections that matter to your group, then leave time to rest and return to the entrance. The Sunken Garden is one distinct feature, shaped to represent the Korean Peninsula. Paths are outdoors, so heat, rain and seasonal ground conditions affect how long a circuit feels comfortable.
The garden’s current personal-admission prices are ₩11,000 for adults, ₩8,500 for teenagers and ₩7,500 for children. The operator defines children as ages 36 months through elementary school. Check the garden’s current admission and visitor rules; tickets are sold at the on-site ticket office.
Hours and transport decide the usable visit
The operator lists daily hours of 08:30–19:00 and last admission at 18:00. From Cheongpyeong Station or Terminal, local bus 30-6 serves the garden; the operator’s directions page publishes timetables, so check the return departure before entering.
Address: 432 Sumogwon-ro, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun. Open the official directions and bus timetable. If you are arriving from Seoul, allow for the transfer at Cheongpyeong rather than treating the garden as a station-side stop.
