Ojukheon or Seongyojang?

You do not need to cover the entire coast in a day. Fix the return journey first, choose one main area and let lunch and the afternoon stay close enough that the day still feels relaxed.

Choose Ojukheon for a historic house and museum visit; choose Seongyojang for a larger residence and landscaped grounds. Add both only after comparing their closing times and the transfer between addresses.

Choose the visit focus

Ojukheon brings the historic house together with memorial and museum spaces. Seongyojang is a former residence with courtyards, a pond and Hwallaejeong Pavilion; exploring the grounds is part of that visit.

Ojukheon: address, hours and admission

Ojukheon House & Municipal Museum is at 24 Yulgok-ro 3139beon-gil. Listed visiting hours are 09:00–18:00; the final ticket is issued one hour before closing. Individual tickets cost ₩3,000 for adults, ₩2,000 for teenagers and ₩1,000 for children. View Ojukheon visitor details.

Seongyojang: check the seasonal closing time

Seongyojang is at 63 Unjeong-gil. Seongyojang admits visitors 09:00–18:00 from March through October, then until 17:00 from November through February. For individuals, tickets are ₩5,000 for adults, ₩3,000 for teenagers or seniors and ₩2,000 for children. View Seongyojang visitor details.

If visiting both, order around the earlier close

From November through February, Seongyojang closes earlier than Ojukheon, so place it first if both fit the day. In March through October their listed closing times match. Check a live bus route or taxi transfer between the addresses, allow for Ojukheon’s last-ticket cutoff, and leave a return margin for the station.
