Gyeongpo Aquarium: Hours, Admission and a Nearby Route

Gyeongpo Aquarium is open daily 10:00–18:00, with last admission at 17:30. Check current prices before adding the lake or beach.

Gyeongpo Aquarium works as the indoor stop in a day around the lake. It stands at 131 Nanseolheon-ro, and a visit to its indoor and outdoor displays takes about an hour. Leave the next stop flexible so weather and walking time can decide whether to continue by the lake or beach.

Plan entry around the ticket cutoff

The aquarium lists daily hours of 10:00–18:00; ticket sales close 30 minutes before the venue. Admission is ₩20,000 for adults, ₩18,000 for teenagers and ₩16,000 for children from 36 months through elementary school. Children younger than 36 months enter free when age can be verified. Check the aquarium operator’s current information before leaving.

Choose a manageable lakeside extension

Gyeongpoho’s lakeside promenade is about 4 km end to end. A short out-and-back section is easier to fit after the aquarium than assuming there is time for the whole route; Gyeongpo Beach is a separate stop. Rain, wind and the group’s pace can change which extension makes sense.

Korea’s accessible tourism listing also records the address and facility-access details. Check transport for the day you travel and allow time for the ride to the next stop.
