Gangneung Sea Sky Bike and Gyeongpo Lake Are Separate Stops

Aranaby’s sea bike is at Namhangjin; Gyeongpo Lake is a different route. Check the operator’s current status before planning both.

Two cycling ideas are easy to confuse in Gangneung. Aranaby’s sea sky bike is in Namhangjin; the Gyeongpo Lake route is a separate walking and cycling path. They are not one attraction or one continuous loop.

Confirm the timed activity first

The Aranaby operator page describes the sea bike between towers over the water and gives its Gangneung branch address as 35-7, Gonghang-gil 127beon-gil, Namhangjin. Before leaving, confirm current operating hours, weather closures, ticket terms and the meeting point with the operator.

Do not build the lake ride around a fixed activity finish unless the operator confirms the session time. If the sea bike is unavailable or weather-limited, Gyeongpo Lake remains a separate walking or cycling option.

Choose one area if the day is short

For a half-day, pick either Namhangjin with its confirmed activity, or Gyeongpo Lake with a shorter lakeside route. To combine them, check the transfer between locations and leave time for the return meal or train. The Ministry of the Interior’s Gyeongpo Lake route page identifies the lake path as a cycling and pedestrian route near the sea.

At Gyeongpo, decide the turn-around point after checking the group’s pace and conditions. Do not assume the full circumference, rental availability or a particular ride duration without a current operator notice.
