Seongdangmot works best as a short stop near a transport connection. Decide whether you are making time for a brief waterside walk or continuing into Duryu Park before setting a return time.
A short stop or a longer park visit?
Seongdangmot sits within Duryu Park. Daegu’s current tourism guide presents the pond as a waterside pause and the surrounding park as a larger recreation and culture area. Choose one reachable section before setting out; the park contains several separate facilities, each with its own access and hours. Daegu Tourism’s Duryu Park and Seongdangmot guide.
Use Seongdangmot Station for the bus connection
Daegu’s city guide places Seobu Intercity Bus Terminal at Seongdangmot Station on Metro Line 1. That makes the area useful before or after an intercity trip, but the station and pond are not the same point. Check the exit and live route, leave luggage somewhere secure, and keep a firm return time before boarding. Daegu’s English transport guide.
Keep a fountain stop optional
Do not plan a timed visit around the fountain without a current municipal notice. The route guide does not publish a dependable show timetable. A short walk remains the simpler plan; if you want a longer visit, choose one confirmed park facility instead.
Duryu Park covers a broad area, so avoid adding several distant venues to a short stop. Seongdangmot and Suseongmot are different Daegu destinations; check the exact name when routing.
