Bongsan Culture Street is a downtown arts district with separate galleries and cultural venues. Daegu Tourism describes exhibitions by leading local artists through the year, but that does not mean every gallery is open or that one schedule applies across the street.
Choose one confirmed door
Decide which gallery or cultural programme you want to see, then verify its current exhibition, opening day, admission, reservation and photography rules with that venue. Keep another gallery optional. The city’s attraction listing gives the street address as Bongsanmunhwa-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu, and lists 053-661-2623; confirm directions and venue details before setting out.
Fit the walk around the appointment
If the exhibition has a timed entry or the evening includes dinner or a performance, set a departure time before arriving. Walk the street between confirmed venues only; studios and shopfronts are not automatically public exhibition spaces. On a rainy day, shorten the outdoor links rather than assuming the whole area is covered.
Use the Cultural Center as its own venue
The Bongsan Cultural Center is a separate stop with its own programme and access arrangements. Check its current calendar instead of assuming it has a daily exhibition. Ask the venue about language support, steps, lifts or seating if those details affect your visit.
