Gungnamji, Jeongnimsa Temple Site and Busosanseong Fortress work best as separate stops in one compact heritage day. Check daylight and the paid sites’ closing time before choosing the order.
Know which stops have tickets
Gungnamji Pond, also called Seodong Park, is at 52 Gungnam-ro. VISITKOREA lists year-round access, free admission and parking. The open pond paths give you flexibility before or after the managed heritage sites.
Busosanseong Fortress and Jeongnimsa Temple Site are open daily except New Year’s Day and Chuseok. The Baekje Historic Areas visitor page lists 09:00–18:00 from March through October and 09:00–17:00 from November through February. Adult admission is ₩2,000 for Busosanseong and ₩1,500 for Jeongnimsa; fees differ for children and youth. The Busosanseong visit includes Nakhwaam Cliff and Goransa Temple. Pets are not allowed at either paid site.
Set the route around the climb
Gungnamji is the gentler stop; Busosanseong involves slopes and more walking, so visit it while the group has energy and enough daylight. Jeongnimsa is a shorter grounds visit centred on the stone pagoda. If you have limited time, choose one paid site and keep the pond as the flexible stop.
Season and access decisions
In summer, begin the fortress walk earlier and carry water. In winter, finish the hill route before dark. Rain can make outdoor paths uncomfortable; shorten Busosanseong rather than relying on a café or viewpoint being open. Wheelchairs and strollers are listed for rent at Busosanseong; the site notes steep paths to some areas, so confirm the route before relying on access.
