The 2026 Busan International Rock Festival ran 2–4 October at Samnak Ecological Park. BIFF followed from 6–15 October, with the Busan Cinema Center among its venues. The events are over; the gap between them shows when a two-base stay might have made sense.

The 5 October gap was a choice, not a sightseeing day by default
After three festival days, 5 October could have been used to rest, move hotels or leave Busan. A room change also takes packing, checkout, luggage storage or transfer, and a second check-in. Keeping one base avoids that work but leaves more cross-city travel.
The festival was in west Busan, while BIFF activity included the Busan Cinema Center and cinemas in Centum City. Moving east was useful only if the confirmed screening plan gave that base several nights or repeated journeys. One screening did not justify a move on its own.

Choose the event that sets the trip
For a short stay, the 2–4 October festival, 5 October gap and 6 October BIFF opening left little room for both events plus a separate sightseeing day. Confirmed tickets and the actual return route should have set the nights. A Seoul–Busan rail transfer or a flight home also needed its own time; neither should be counted as a full event day.
For a future edition, wait for organizer announcements on dates, lineup, screenings, venues, shuttle service and ticket rules before paying for fixed hotel dates. The archived 2026 times and venue plan do not predict the next edition.
