Does an Ocean View room in Gwangalli guarantee a fireworks view?

Confirmed festival details

Busan lists pre-event programmes from 14:00 to 19:00 and the main fireworks from 19:00 to 20:00, with activity areas around Gwangalli Beach, Igidae and Haeundae. The official event schedule gives the latest public programme. It does not confirm a particular hotel-room view or event-night station access.

Busan’s paid-seat notice listed R seats at ₩100,000 and S seats at ₩70,000 when regular sales opened. Check the city ticket notice and current seller before relying on availability or seat location.

Gwangalli for the festival evening

Gwangalli is the practical starting point if you plan to spend most of the event night at the beach and want to keep the return nearby. Measure the hotel from your intended viewing area and route, not from a listing’s “ocean view” label. A sea-facing room does not establish a clear line to the bridge or show.

Seomyeon or Haeundae for the whole trip

Keep Seomyeon in the comparison when the festival is one night in a longer Busan visit and other days begin across the city. Haeundae can remain the better base when the beach, Centum City and East Busan already shape the stay. Neither replaces a route check from the exact festival area after the event.

Plan the night and the next morning together

Do not schedule a hotel change after the fireworks. If an early KTX or flight follows, work backward from that departure and compare the morning route with the late walk from the viewing area. Before paying, check the hotel’s cancellation deadline, late check-in and room category; keep a view premium only when the assigned room and direction are clear.
