Bonte Museum Jeju: Tickets, 2026 Galleries and Transport

The biggest booking mistake here is not paying a few thousand won too much. It is using an old review to judge a museum that changed. Yayoi Kusama’s Pumpkin and Infinity Mirrored Room were temporarily unavailable during a 2025 move; by March 2026, both had moved into the new bonstar building.

Bonte Museum’s ticket covers a visit built around Tadao Ando’s architecture, Korean craft and contemporary art. In 2026 the museum’s current listing also includes the bonstar exhibition space, so use the latest gallery information when planning around Yayoi Kusama’s works.

Hours, admission and how long to allow

The museum’s official visitor information lists daily opening from 10:00 to 18:00, with last admission at 17:00. Standard admission is KRW 30,000 for adults, KRW 20,000 for youth and KRW 10,000 for children. The official FAQ estimates about 1.5–2 hours for the full visit; the Infinity Mirrored Room viewing itself is about two minutes per group.

Bonte’s 2026 listing names the bonstar special exhibition and Tadao Ando’s Sea – Jeju Island and Naoshima. Check the current bonstar exhibition notice before visiting, especially if one artwork is the main reason for buying a ticket. The museum’s layout changed during the move to the new building; an older photograph or review may show a previous installation.

Bus, taxi or rental car

The museum’s published directions list a bus connection via Donggwang Transfer Station and route 752-2; the last stop still leaves roughly a 20-minute walk. The FAQ also names taxis from Jungmun or Donggwang as an option. In rain or heat, allow for that final stretch or choose a taxi. Check the route and return trip before setting out.

Choose a ticket for the actual visit date

The museum sells tickets through its own website. If using an advance ticket from another seller, match the date, visitor ages and admission type at checkout. Do not rely on an old cancellation window or voucher rule: those terms can change independently of the museum’s gallery information.

At 17:00 last admission, arriving at the gate at closing time will not leave room for the galleries. Put the museum earlier in a southwest Jeju day, or make it the main stop rather than trying to squeeze in several distant attractions.

Route choice

Allow 1.5–2 hours, arrive well before the 17:00 last admission and account for the walk from the bus stop. Verify current galleries and ticket terms before paying.
